Port Aransas, Texas was ground zero when the devastating Hurricane Harvey made landfall in August 2017. White Construction Company was called upon to help Cline's Landing Association and STG Design rebuild one of the area’s iconic condominium developments, Cline’s Landing.
The project consists of two, eight-story buildings connected by an atrium with 108 individual condo units (approximately 250,000 gross sf). Throughout demolition, roughly 95% of the condominium’s interior was to be removed, while the concrete structure and some of the skin remained in place.
The extensive reconstruction began in the Fall of 2018 and includes Masonry, Decorative Metal Handrails/Guardrails, Millwork, Waterproofing and Joint Sealants, Batt Insulation, Roofing, Doors/Frames/Hardware, Lath and Plaster, Glazing Systems, Drywall, Tile, Acoustical Ceilings, Resilient Flooring, Carpet, Fluid Applied Flooring, Painting and Wallcoverings, Elevator Repair, Fire Protection, Plumbing, HVAC, and Electrical.
