The Texas State University Bobcat Stadium Endzone Expansion project transformed the south endzone into a modern, multi-use facility that enhances athletic performance, fan experience, and university operations. The 148,634 sf expansion included a new upper level designed for hospitality and banquet events, as well as extensive renovations to the field house. New facilities included an 8,000 sf weight room, a 3,000 sf training room with advanced rehabilitation technology, upgraded locker rooms, showers, hydrotherapy pools, meeting spaces, and a barber shop. Exterior concourses were expanded to connect indoor lounges to the stadium, with a new elevator providing direct upper-level access.

Construction was carefully phased around university activities, with athletic operations continuing uninterrupted. The team implemented innovative tools such as robotic layout technology and a 287-foot tower crane to overcome site constraints and maintain quality and efficiency. Despite not being contractually obligated, the team fully replaced faulty flooring in the weight room to ensure lasting performance. During preconstruction, digital takeoff tools supported detailed budgeting and successful value engineering to realign scope with funding goals. Subcontractor outreach emphasized State of Texas HUB participation. The project’s success was driven by close collaboration, a strong field presence, and a commitment to safety, quality, and long-term value.
