Helping Hand Home for Children

The mission of Helping Hand Home for Children is “to provide a nurturing and therapeutic home for children and to restore each child to a healthy family setting.” The organization houses children from the foster care system whose placement in a family setting has been delayed by extraordinary circumstances.
White Construction Company (WCC) is building four Residential Buildings (total 11,360 sf) on the Helping Hand Home for Children campus to include congregate spaces for children and their caretakers. In addition, the project consists of a new headquarters for the Helping Hand Home for Children operation that will consist of educational, administrative, and social spaces.
Helping Hand Home for Children is a critical community support agency that helps Austin a great place to live. WCC is honored to build this facility where children in need can receive the nurturing they need.
The project commenced in January 2021 and will be completed in mid-2022.
